Write for Us
Are you a current or former political speechwriter? Interested in writing for our site – and becoming a regular contributor? Tell us a little about yourself and for whom you’ve written speeches. Later, we’ll ask you to submit a 300- to 1000-word original op-ed on a topic of your choice. If we like it, we’ll publish it, and before long you could be a regular contributor to PunditWire.
Note: We want this blog to reflect a wide variety of views. We want insight, candor, and energetic, readable prose – no diatribes and ad hominem attacks here.
We also want original content, so if you’ve published or posted it anywhere else, please spare us the Google search and refrain from sending it. If we find out that your column isn’t original to PunditWire, we’ll delete it and hesitate to publish you again.
And we require one other thing of you: full disclosure. If you represent a client or politician who might have an interest in what you write, you must reveal it (example: Jane Smith is a speechwriter for Senator Snipes, who has sponsored legislation on this subject). Failure to disclose will mean no more columns for PunditWire.
To start the process, introduce yourself using the form below. If we’re interested, we’ll contact you with directions for submitting your op-ed.
